Roca Showroom Boonthavorn
Kaset Nawamin

Roca Showroom Kaset Nawamin Branch has the area of 76 square meters. The design challenge is to retain some of the old walls of existing structure. The wall has divided into two parts. The shopfront has clearly divided into two zones: the right side of the wall showcases washbasins and the left showcases toilet bowls, bathtubs, faucets, shower heads and accessories. There is a corridor connecting the two spaces in the back of the showroom.

Since Roca is a sanitary ware company from Spain, the design concept has been influenced by the Sagrada Familia – a famous architecture in Spain designed by a Spanish architect, Antoni Gaudi. Architectural elements that distinctly characterize the cathedral’s design are catenary arches. The contour of catenary arch has been applied in the design of shelves and panelboard for faucets, shower heads and accessories at the product display area. The highlight products, such as smart toilets, are placed at arch display platforms in the storefront. The front partition wall has been crafted into catenary arches which allows people to see into the showroom.
