Khaolak Forest resort
Phang Nga

The project locates 1.2 kilometers from Bang Niang beach. The project’s site has the forest behind it, which offers the best view for every parts of the resort. The master plan is designed with an open space in order to capture the view from the forest and bring in the nature into the resort. The lobby entrance canopy looks like the city gate as it functions as the main entrance that opens and welcomes guest into the forest on the background.

The front building consists of front of house, black of house and standard rooms with an access to the swimming pool on the first floor. The breadth side of the buildings has been uniquely arranged to receive wind from the south and the narrow strip of the buildings facing east and west to prevent the heat from the sun. Each room has a view of the pool and the forest on the background.

9 villas are arranged around the swimming pool. This area is a privacy zone where guests can relax and observe nature closely. The villas and pool locate on the axis which can be seen from the front lobby.
